Who publishes this guide
This site is a community guide published by Gold Peach Realty, a real estate brokerage based in Dahlonega that works across North Georgia. We make it because most searches for a place to stay here land on booking sites that show the same cabins over and over, and almost none answer the questions visitors ask first: can I walk to the square, will they take my dog, which weekends fill the town, and what will the taxes add.
We are not the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County visitor bureau, the City of Dahlonega, Lumpkin County, a booking site or any lodging business. We do not take reservations or payments, and no property pays to be listed or ranked. Every listing links to the property’s own site so you can book with them directly.
How we check facts
- A place is listed only if it has a working official site. Each feature we show (dogs, breakfast, a hot tub, an accessible room) links to the page on that site that says so, with the date we checked it.
- If a property’s site does not say, the stay matcher shows it as a question to ask, never as a yes.
- We do not publish prices, star ratings or reviews. Rates change by the night; book with the property to see them.
- Festival dates come from the organizers. If a 2027 date has not been posted, we say so instead of guessing.
- Distances to the Public Square are computed on OpenStreetMap data: walking distance as a straight line, drive times as free-flow routes with no traffic.
- Photographs are real and credited, with their licences, on the photo and film credits page. The home page film is cut from those photographs; nothing in it is generated.
How we use AI
AI tools help us draft; people check every fact before it publishes. Articles are bylined to the Dahlonega Vacations Editorial Team, the people who check them, rather than to an invented author.
Advertising, sponsorship and listings
Gold Peach Realty’s own real estate listings appear on this guide, clearly labelled, and the brokerage’s contact details are on every page. We do not sell rankings, placements or reviews. Any future local sponsorship will be labelled as sponsored where it appears.
Corrections
Run a place to stay here, or spotted something out of date? Tell us through the contact form or at info@goldpeachrealty.com, and we will check it against your site and fix it. Pages show the date they were last checked.
Dates, rules and hours can change. The organizers have the final word: Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Visitors Center
